  Black Theatre Network’s  37th Annual Conference Afrofuturism: Envisioning Black Theatre July 20 – July 24, 2023 St. Louis, MO   CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS     The Black Theatre Network seeks panel/roundtable proposals, scholarly papers, workshops, and presentations for peer review constructed around our conference theme,  Afrofuturism: Envisioning Black Theatre .   Since 1986, BTN has been leading the charge of collecting, processing, and distributing information to support the professional and personal development of Black Theatre.  To attain this goal, we convene annually and provide scholarly discourse for specific sectors of our constituency by:   ·         Assisting theatre professionals (producers, directors, actors, designers, playwrights, and arts administrators) with new works development, best practices and networking opportunities. ·         Training instructors, students, and educators in best practices and professional development.  ·         Publishing a peer-reviewed journal
